All hands on decks at Brewery
Brewery will ring in the New Year with one big, bassy bang. LevelOne will be hosting Bass Odyssey, featuring three of the hottest names in electronic music in Australia today. Holden has played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry during his 23 years professionally DJ’ing including Carl Cox, De La Soul, Moby, Fergie, Paul Van Dyke and Faithless.
‘‘I try to play here (in Townsville) three or four times a year and every show has been successful,’’ Holden said.
‘‘I’m very, very happy with the response I get in Townsville, it’s genuinely one of my favourite places to play, along with Adelaide.’’
Kovac, aka Aleks Y2K, is looking forward to playing in Townsville again where he believes electronic music crowds are getting better and better.
‘‘It gets better every year in Townsville,’’ he said.
‘‘They’ve become more educated and are open to having a good time.’’
