Oh so sad, San­dra is sin­gle again

SAN­DRA Oh, who plays the re­la­tion­ship-im­paired Christina Yang on Grey’s Anatomy, is now of­fi­cially sin­gle again.

The 35-year-old Golden Globe win­ner and Side­ways di­rec­tor Alexan­der Payne’s di­vorce de­cree went through on De­cem­ber 21.

Ac­cord­ing to the doc­u­ments found on TMZ.com, the mar­i­tal dis­so­lu­tion sta­tus was granted in the best in­ter­ests of both par­ties, who wanted to file their taxes sep­a­rately.

Other fi­nan­cial mat­ters, how­ever, must still be re­solved, in­clud­ing their re­tire­ment sav­ings plans for the Screen Ac­tors Guild, Writ­ers Guild of Amer­ica, Direc­tors Guild of Amer­ica, Amer­i­can Fed­er­a­tion of Television and Ra­dio Artists, Pretty In­tel­li­gent Girl Pro­duc­tions Inc Profit Shar­ing and Lopez Roof­ing.

The cou­ple an­nounced that they ‘mu­tu­ally de­cided to sep­a­rate’ in March 2005 and Oh filed for di­vorce the fol­low­ing month. Payne, 45, and Oh, 35, met six years ago and have been mar­ried since 2003.

Payne, who re­cently won the Os­car for best adapted screen­play with JimTay­lor for Side­ways, is also the writer-di­rec­tor of Cit­i­zen Ruth, Elec­tion and About Sch­midt.

Oh’s film­cred­its in­clude The Red Vi­o­lin, Wak­ing the Dead, The Princess Di­aries and Un­der the Tus­can Sun.
