New service launched
BUDGET airline Jetstar has launched the second leg of its longhaul Australia to Hawaii service, with flights from Melbourne to Honolulu taking off yesterday.
Jetstar will operate two Melbourne-Honolulu services a week using its fleet of wide body Airbus 330s.
The launch comes two days after Jetstar started its Sydney-Honolulu service, which will operate three times a week.
Hawaii is Jetstar’s fifth international destination after Bangkok, Phuket, Bali and Vietnam. It is Jetstar’s third international service from Melbourne.
