Free of­fers for fam­ily busi­nesses

FAM­ILY Busi­ness Aus­tralia is of­fer­ing free con­sul­ta­tions for any Queens­land fam­ily busi­ness need­ing ad­vice af­ter be­ing af­fected by the floods or Cy­clone Yasi.

The chair­man of Fam­ily Busi­ness Aus­tralia, Richard Owens OAM, said there was no need for fam­ily busi­nesses which suf­fered through the nat­u­ral dis­as­ters to go through the next few months on their own.

The pro bono of­fer pro­vided by mem­bers of the FBA Queens­land ad­viser group in­cludes an ini­tial con­sul­ta­tion of up to two hours.

The FBA Queens­land ad­viser group in­cludes spe­cial­ists in com­mer­cial law, prop­erty law, cash flow pro­jec­tions, busi­ness val­u­a­tions, tax­a­tion and the unique dy­nam­ics of fam­ily busi­nesses.

The of­fer will be open for six months.
