Moo ticket sales slow
Stephen Halpin TOWNSVILLE Groovin The Moo ticket sales have been slower than expected due to the interruption of Cyclone Yasi. Ticket sales were launched the day the cyclone devastated North Queensland. The Bendigo event has sold out and others are filling fast while there is still plenty of room in Townsville. Event promoter Stephen Halpin said he expected sales to continue to pick up as the May festival draws closer. ‘‘ The Wombats are especially excited to come to Townsville because they normally stay in capital cities,’’ he said. Tickets are $ 99 plus booking fee from gtm. net. au and moshtix. com. au or by calling 1300 438 849.
