Chase and Status: No More Idols

Townsville Bulletin - - Savvy -

These drum and bass pioneers intrigue and open the door for new fans with the latest album featuring a cast of vocalists riding the wave of success in 2011. Their debut album gained international success and not surprisingly propelled them on to a major record label for this future effort. The intro of No Problem recaptures the infamous jungle era before extending into an upbeat mix of drum‘ n’ bass. High on dancefloor rotation Let You Go, featuring the soulful vocals of Mali, is an emotional tribute and adds some more mainstream appeal. Adding the likes of Cee Lo Green, the album continues with an urban approach. Plan B lending some vocals on Fool Yourself is a standout on this appealing dubstep single. – JENNIFER HOLMES
