Sports drink

Townsville Bulletin - - NQ Life -

People who exercise outdoors in hot weather for longer than 30 minutes have lower sodium levels and run a risk for ‘‘ water intoxication’’ if they drink only water. Drinks such as Gatorade and Powerade replace fluids and salt lost in sweat. If a sports drink isn’t available, rehydrate with water and a drink that contains sodium, such as skim milk.
