Cold, wet washcloths

Townsville Bulletin - - NQ Life -

APPLY to major blood vessels that pump blood near the surface of the skin in the armpit and where the front of the thigh meets the trunk.

In cases of overheating, a cold, wet washcloth on these spots – along with the head, which also has significant blood flow during exercise – allows more blood to pass close to a cool source and dissipate heat more quickly.
