NEW Zealand and the West Indies cruised through their World Cup pool matches last night, de­stroy­ing their op­po­si­tion with em­bar­rass­ing ease. The West Indies took a gi­ant stride to­wards the World Cup quar­ter-fi­nals by pound­ing lack­lus­tre Bangladesh by nine wick­ets, while the Ki­wis didn’t lose a wicket in chas­ing down Zim­babwe’s 162. Windies spin­ner Suleiman Benn grabbed 4-18 for to help dis­miss Bangladesh for 58 in 18.5 overs.
