Premier Anna Bligh yesterday told parliament the fund to help flood and cyclone victims stood at $ 233 million.
She said second-round payments would go to home owners whose houses were destroyed or so badly damaged they must be demolished.
Owner-occupier households with a combined income of up to $ 150,000 would be eligible for the payments.
The initial payment will be $ 10,000 towards rehousing and rebuilding costs, followed by a payment of up to $ 90,000.
