More time for Moran jurors
THE jury in the murder trial of gangland widow Judy Moran will resume deliberations for a seventh day after struggling to reach a unanimous verdict. Victorian Supreme Court Justice Lex Lasry agreed late yesterday to allow jurors to return to court tomorrow for a seventh day of deliberations. Jurors said they were having trouble reaching a unanimous verdict and requested more time. Justice Lasry advised them not to compromise their honestly-held views.
