‘‘ It was such a beau­ti­ful cor­re­spon­dence be­tween them and it made me think about how loved ones com­mu­ni­cated,’’ Ms Hill said.

The pair wrote more than 100 let­ters, which Ms Hill has and is slowly read­ing.

‘‘ They’re re­ally ex­tra­or­di­nary. Jack was a very funny man,’’ she said.

Ms Hill has made a few small changes to her show in­clud­ing re-work­ing the rou­tine with five dancers in­stead of six af­ter D’Arcy An­drews fell ill.
