‘ Beliebers’ in ruckus

SINGER Justin Bieber was forced to stay in­side his Liver­pool ho­tel Thurs­day due to se­cu­rity con­cerns from ov­er­en­thu­si­as­tic fans crowded out­side the build­ing, TMZ re­ported.

Po­lice were hav­ing a dif­fi­cult time con­trol­ling the crowd of more than 500 scream­ing fans a nd were t a ki ng no chances . They shut down roads lead­ing to the ho­tel and warned Bieber that it could turn into a ‘‘ pos­si­ble riot sit­u­a­tion’’, ac­cord­ing to the celebrity web­site.

The 17-year-old was threat­ened with ar­rest by po­lice if he even went onto his ho­tel bal­cony to greet his gath­ered ‘‘ Beliebers" be­low.

‘‘ THIS IS CRAZY!... I can’t even say hi to my fans out­side be­cause of the po­lice," he tweeted. ‘‘ Some bull,’’ he wrote in a post­ing that he later deleted.

Even­tu­ally the teen star was given the goa­head to wave at his ad­mir­ers from his bal­cony.
