O’Far­rell dares to kick him out

NSW Op­po­si­tion Leader Barry O’Far­rell has urged vot­ers to kick out a coali­tion gov­ern­ment if it fails to de­liver on its elec­tion cam­paign prom­ises. With less the two weeks to go un­til the March 26 state elec­tion, the La­bor gov­ern­ment re­mains on the back foot af­ter a se­ries of polls show­ing Mr O’Far­rell’s Lib­eral-Na­tion­als on track to win in a land­slide. Premier Kristina Ke­neally is con­tin­u­ing to call for greater voter scrutiny of the coali­tion’s poli­cies, rais­ing t he spec­tre of fewer gov­ern­ment ser­vices. But Mr O’Far­rell said he could of­fer vot­ers ‘‘ be­liev­able and achiev­able’’ al­ter­na­tives. ‘‘ Ul­ti­mately, if we don’t de­liver, kick us out,’’ he said d ur i ng alive de­bate wit h Ms Ke­neally.

Mean­while, the Lib­eral Party said it would ex­change pref­er­ences with Chris­tian Demo­cratic Party.
