Australia’s last Riverdance
RIVERDANCE has returned to Australia for the first time in eight years – and this time it will be the Irish step dancing sensation’s last hurrah. Aussie dancer Jason Oremus has been touring with the world famous troop for seven years, and was watching from the audience as a 17-year-old last time the show was in Sydney. ‘‘ I was sitting on the other side of ( the) stage watching about a year before I joined the show and I had no idea I would join when I watched it,’’ Oremus said. The show focuses on the evolution of Irish culture and dance.
