Plan to stop Libyan leader

FORCES loyal to a resur­gent Libyan leader Muam­mar Gaddafi yes­ter­day launched an all­out at­tack on the re­bel­held west­ern city of Mis­rata, killing at least four peo­ple and wound­ing 10. The rebels have vowed to fight on but have again pleaded with for­eign pow­ers to come to their aid. In a move set to heighten ten­sions in the Mid­dle East, sev­eral Arab na­tions have in­di­cated they are pre­pared to take part in a mil­i­tary op­er­a­tion in Libya to stop the ad­vance of Gaddafi’s forces.
