Agents in gun over cap rort
THE fates of player agents alleged to have been involved in the salary cap rort at the Melbourne Storm will become clearer in the coming days. The NRL’s player agent accreditation scheme committee will meet tonight to consider what have been reported to be serious allegations about several agents. Four agents, representing a large proportion of the NRL’s stars, were named by Fairfax last month. Agents found to have a case to answer will be asked to show cause as to why their accreditation should not be revoked.
