Townsville Bulletin - - Inside Today -

NOMINATIONS are now open for the Townsville Bulletin NQ Police Officer of the Year Award ( details page 23). The Bulletin is on the hunt for an outstanding officer, who has gone above and beyond the call of duty, as a way to thank the Queensland Police Service. Last year’s winner of the coveted award was district domestic violence liaison officer Sergeant Mark Lance, recognised for his work in helping to reduce the North’s high domestic violence rate. This year’s winner will receive a family holiday valued at $ 4000 and a Loloma watch, while the person who nominated the officer will win an iPod. Nominations can be made before April 2 at www. townsvillebulletin. com. au.
