50 female celebs hacked
A NEW list of Hollywood heavyweights, including Disney stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato and sultry actress Jessica Alba, were revealed as part of the 50, all female celebrities targeted by a hacking ring being investigated by the FBI.
In January, the family-friendly Gomez, 18, profusely apologised to her fans after her Facebook page was hacked and vulgar messages were posted, that included, ‘‘ Oh yeh, JUSTIN BIEBER SUCKS!’’ – referencing her boyfriend.
Sexy actress Scarlett Johansson, former Heroes actress Ali Larter and past Disney star Miley Cyrus are also among the showbiz darlings that had compromising materials stolen from their computers and mobile devices.
US law enforcement agents met with High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens this week, the first high-profile victim to discuss how her Gmail account was accessed.
After obtaining compromising material from her email account, hackers began circulating pictures taken two years ago of the actress in the nude.
The FBI is conducting an investigation into the hacking ring.
