Road worriers

Townsville Bulletin - - Text The Editor -

To cyclist 4817. Last time i checked, motor vehicles contribute to the road you ride on. We have every right to be hostile, no matter how quiet the road is. Kg Police Please!!! Everyday I drive home from work on the new North Shore Rd & continually see ‘‘ P’’ platers driving like complete idiots. Example: I was overtaken on double white lines on a hard corner, estimated overtaking speed 150 kmph . . . Ridiculous!! You need to actively patrol this road!!! It will be a road riddled with white crosses if you don’t. It’s the only way as the younger gen don’t and won’t listen!! G 4818 To the stupid p plater who over took me on Angus smith drive in a work zone area next time how about u follow the road rules. Douglas Raising Blakeys crossing is a bigger priority than a convention centre. Ben. Magnetic island What is with this anger towards cyclist in Townsville or should i say BOGANSVILLE! I’m from tsv, but common people pull ya heads in. I’m a cyclist, i’ve rode overseas, all over Aust in most capital cities. But Townsville as got the worst drivers i’ve ever seen. What? do u people not know how 2 drive in multiple lanes of traffic. If u see a group( bunch) of cyclists ahead of u at 5: 30 in morning mind u. I think it’s pretty simple put your indicator on & merge into the right lane & then go past & u’ll b sweet. Cyclist 4817.
