Nitro’s pledge

Townsville Bulletin - - Voice Of The North -

I THOUGHT it important to respond to an article in the Townsville Bulletin headlined ‘‘ Be careful with Nitro Circus bookings’’. The terms and conditions on ticket purchase are absolutely clear . If bad weather causes a postponement to the show on the Saturday, the Sunday is a reserve day.

Given the highly dangerous nature of the Nitro Circus stunts, if there is consistent heavy rain during a show, it is, on very rare occasions, simply not possible to conduct the event.

In that case, we will run the event the following day. In the very unlikely event that the rescheduled day is washed out then all ticket holders receive a full refund. We make these terms very clear on our website and on Ticketek’s. This is the only way we can conduct an event like this.

We are extremely confident the Townsville show will run on the Saturday as the forecast is mainly fine with a chance of a thunderstorm. If we have a big downfall during the show, we will cover all the ramps and simply restart when the rain stops.

I would advise that fans wanting to come to the show do not wait until Saturday, as tickets are selling fast and you may either miss out or not get the kind of seats you are looking for. On this current tour of Australia and New Zealand we have so far run all nine shows, so the chances of a cancellation in Townsville are very slim indeed and if it happens, all fans will receive their money back.

This will be the one and only chance of ever seeing the great Travis Pastrana i n Townsville and t he show has received rave reviews on every stop. MICHAEL PORRA, Nitro Circus Live

Promoter.

ACTION: Fans will be given a full refund if this weekend’s Nitro Circus is rained out
