BRIS­TOL-My­ers Squibb says a new study of its highly an­tic­i­pated melanoma drug im­proved sur­vival time in pa­tients with ad­vanced skin cancer. On av­er­age, pa­tients tak­ing the new drug, ip­il­i­mumab, lived four months longer than pa­tients tak­ing reg­u­lar chemo­ther­apy.
