Medical arrogance

Townsville Bulletin - - Voice Of The North -

ONE of my nephews is a top surgeon in America. He treats his patients and their families with kindness and respect. It doesn’t take much intelligence to see that all of this instills confidence and promotes healing. I hope that Channel 10 axes the program House as soon as possible because this television show perpetuates the culture of arrogance and rudeness among some members of the medical profession who have obviously inspired the character of Dr House. I have just come home from a short stay in the hospital and visits from my ‘ specialists’ so I’m full of it.

JOHN J. ANDERSEN, Heatley.
