Con­tract for John Hol­land

JOHN Hol­land has been awarded a $ 150 mil­lion con­tract to build marine of­fload­ing fa­cil­i­ties for the pro­posed Cur­tis Is­land liq­ue­fied nat­u­ral gas ( LNG) fa­cil­ity off Queens­land. John Hol­land is a wholly owned sub­sidiary of Leighton Hold­ings Ltd. The con­struc­tion work would form part of the Glad­stone LNG pro­ject. Un­der the sub­con­tract, John Hol­land will de­sign and con­struct a new ferry berth, a roll on/ roll off berth, load on/ load off berth and a bulk ag­gre­gate un­load­ing berth to be de­liv­ered for con­trac­tor Bech­tel Aus­tralia Pty Ltd. The con­tract in­cludes the en­gi­neer­ing, de­sign, pro­cure­ment, sup­ply, fab­ri­ca­tion, trans­porta­tion, erec­tion and in­stal­la­tion. .
