Double tragedy

Townsville Bulletin - - Voice Of The North -

The problem is simply and economically fixed at Stuart, shut down the power to the cells and the guests of her majesty can ponder their crimes in the dark. The place is a PRISON not a motel. Posted by: KO and lights out Come and work at Tsv Prison where Officers are resetting fuses and safety switches while prisoners are " shorting" wires in their cells at night to create a spark to light their cigarettes with! Fire alarms wail all night because manangement wont stop prisoners smoking. Qld Government smoke free buildings ! Phooey! Posted by: Michael Reed of Stuart Condolences to the families, No one likes a tragic accident, preventable or not, the families will be devastated Posted by: Michael M’Ouse My heart goes out to the family and friends of these two poor lads. Posted by: sara of Tsv My heart goes out to the grieving families. Posted by: Truth to Tell of Townsville I was brought up to always ‘‘ err on the side of caution’’ and ‘‘ be prepared’’. I think with many ’ safety’ regulations in place we have become complacent. In any situation where you can’t be totally sure of the conditions it would be wise to over-prepare. Better safe than sorry! Posted by: Peg Asus of Townsville
