Townsville Bulletin - - The Goss -

LINDSAY Lohan, pictured, decided to pass on a plea deal in her felony grand theft case and will take her chances at trial, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney said.

Lohan, 24, was charged with one count of felony grand theft for allegedly walking out of a jewellery store with- out paying for a $ 2500 gold necklace on January 22 in California.

The plea deal presented to her by prosecutors included a 90-day jail sentence, which Lohan reportedly balked at because she was convinced she could prove her innocence at trial.

Meanwhile, Lohan’s father Michael filed a police report claiming his exgirlfriend assaulted him, after he was charged with domestic violence.
