SES get help with clean- up

THE Mas­ter Builders Foun­da­tion has do­nated a $ 12,000 self-con­tained wa­ter pres­sure unit to as­sist the State Emer­gency Ser­vice in Ing­ham with nat­u­ral disas­ter clean-up.

Mas­ter Builders North Queens­land re­gional man­ager Jo Lynch said the foun­da­tion’s mis­sion, funded by do­na­tions from its mem­bers, was to pro­vide sup­port to Queens­land-based peo­ple, projects and pro­grams.

Ms Lynch s ai d Mas­ter Builders had also been worki ng t o sup­ply f l ood and cy­clone-af­fected home and small busi­ness own­ers with in­for­ma­tion and ad­vice.

‘‘ We’ve de­vel­oped a Disas­ter Re­pair Reg­is­ter de­signed to help link home and busi­ness own­ers with a prop­erly li­censed, lo­cal builder or trade con­trac­tor.’’
