Smell

Townsville Bulletin - - NQ Life -

Humans have five million scent receptor cells in their nose, but cats enjoy about 100 million and dogs a whopping 250 million. Enjoyment of food in dogs and particularly cats is primarily driven by their sense of smell rather than taste. Fussy cats will often respond better to warmed and more strongly smelling food.
