Bully emails un-Australian
I FEEL like apologising to Carmel Fisher, t he l ady whose family is in Tokyo and having financial trouble in meeting the financial cost of their repatriation to come home to Australia.
Sorry Carmel there are some thoughtless bastards in this world.
To have to go to the local newspaper to ask for financial help would be harrowing enough, and obviously the
Bulletin thought that the story was genuine.
The emails that followed that story were thoughtless and un-Australian.
We don’t know the personal struggles of the people involved, however they are still Australian and in need of help. The people who emailed the
Bulletin with their vitriol should put themselves into the situation of the family in Tokyo.
Their unchristian comments are a disgrace and are becoming typical of the junk that is seen in the Bulletin’s email comments. PETER SPICER,
