Long - time friend and motocross champion Andy Bell said Townsville stood as the best show on the road.

‘‘ The crowd was just so receptive so it makes everybody want to pull off some big moves,’’ he said.

‘‘ The guys get so pumped they get out there they just get out there and go for it, so those sort of shows tend to provide the best entertainment.’’

‘‘ That was easily the most vocal crowd we have had on this tour so the guys were pumped up to show what they got,’’ he said.

‘‘ I have been trying to land the TP Roll for a while now so to finally pull it off has been a big weight off my shoulders.’’

The show went on without delay after overcast conditions failed to produce forecast falls.

Wygle said the crew enjoyed their first taste of the tropics.

‘‘ The tour has taken in the capital cities in the past but not the smaller towns so everybody has been very happy to see some new areas,’’ he said. ‘‘ It was a bit humid on Friday when we first got into town but the weather was perfect on the night of the show.’’
