Second Mc- attack prompts probe
POLICE are investigating an unprovoked attack on a man while he waited in a taxi in the McDonald’s drive-thru in Aitkenvale at the weekend.
The attack at the Nathan St restaurant early Saturday morning comes after the Bulletin reported a woman and her car of friends were pelted with rocks and abused the weekend before in the same spot.
Mundingburra police of f i cer-i ncharge Senior-Sergeant Graeme Paterson said the man, who was allegedly punched in the face, had a broken tooth, black eyes, swelling to the nose and face, as well as several cuts.
Sen-Sgt Paterson said the man was assaulted by an indigenous woman and a Caucasian male while he waited for food. He said the matter was under investigation, but the culprits had not been found.
