What a croc!

Townsville Bulletin - - Savvy -

SHOVE over Rosell ‘‘ The Love Doctor’’ Ellis, there is a new ladies’ man capturing hearts at The Swamp. He’s been around for 19 years now, but it seems only now that 100 per cent Croc is getting a few eyebrows raised in his direction from the opposite sex.

If the sort of attention he gets from the McCafe Croc Squad is anything to go by, the man in the reptile suit could have a few tips on how to win the affection of women en masse.

Croc squad captain’s Stephanie Godfrey and Lucy Jackson certainly can’t hide how much they like their partner in entertainment. Lucy, sums him up nicely as ‘‘ awesome’’. ‘‘ He is an absolute legend. The Croc is the best mascot without a doubt.’’

And, and don’t even bring up the debate between 100 per cent Croc and Joe Blake because the sneaky far northern snake mascot doesn’t even factor in the conversation.

No, Townsville’s own prankster is in a class all of his own. ‘‘ Every sport should have a Croc,’’ Lucy said. While he can push over chairs, and flash his tail like no one cares, he isn’t a renowned dancer.

But there is just something about a blonde wig and busting a move with a troop of beautiful women that makes two left feet look okay.

‘‘ We love dancing with the Croc,’’ Stephanie said.

‘‘ We did a routine with him to Baby Got Back and the crowd went off for it’’.
