Vices & Virtues: Panic! At the Disco
There’s a lot of rocking pomp and splendour in album No. 3, glittering with a deluge of effects and drama in the same vein as first album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out ( 2005). With Vices & Virtues, it becomes so much more obvious the remaining half of the band has refocused on the emo-charged musical theatrics that blasted it into the stratosphere. Melodramatic and camp Let’s Kill Tonight hits an entertaining high and the stomp and grind of the passion-charged Hurricane adds a little zest to the lyrical mix.
