Tiarna is a true Belieber
There are fans of Justin Bieber who are not afraid to admit it writes Jade Kennedy
Tiarna Robertson, 15, is proud to say she has Bieber Fever. ‘‘ All of my friends and family know that I love him,’’ she said. ‘‘ My family thinks it’s funny.’’ Tiarna goes to Charters Towers State High School, and said most of her peers teased her about her Bieber-obsession.
‘‘ The kids at school give me a hard time about it,’’ she said.
‘‘ I have one friend who likes him, though, so we talk about him a bit.’’
Tiarna said this was her third year with Bieber Fever. ‘‘ I just love everything about him,’’ she said. ‘‘ He has a great voice and I love his songs and yeah, he’s pretty hot too.’’
Like any fan, Tiarna said her bedroom wall was covered in posters of the Biebs.
‘‘ I have about 20 posters of him, I guess,’’ she said.
‘‘ I have a couple of different things, like a cushion and a blanket.
‘‘ Everyone knows I’m a huge fan so they pick stuff up for me when they see it.’’
Tiarna said her favourite Bieber song was Favorite Girl.
‘‘ I just really like the lyrics, especially the chorus. . . which I can’t remember off the top of my head now!’’
Though she has never seen the Canadian teen star perform live, Tiarna said she was looking forward seeing him for the first time in Brisbane next month.
‘‘ I already have my ticket to his show in Brisbane on April 26,’’ she said.
‘‘ I’ll be going by myself, so hopefully I meet some more fans to hang out with while I’m there.’’
Luckily for Tiarna, and other Bieber fans ( out and proud or closet Beliebers) won’t have to get their fix on YouTube for much longer, with his debut movie Never Say Never released in cinemas next week.
‘‘ I’m definitely planning on seeing the movie when it comes out,’’ Tiarna said.
‘‘ I don’t know how many times I’ll get there, but definitely more than once.’’ >> Never Say Never in 3D premieres on April 7. For more information go to www. justinbieberneversaynever. com
