Stab accused granted bail
A WOMAN who allegedly stabbed a man at the West End home they were sharing has been released on bail.
Lillian Gladys Gibia allegedly stabbed a 42- year- old man at their Church St home on Monday.
Police prosecutor Sgt Mick Harms opposed bail, arguing Gibia posed a risk to the victim.
Magistrate Cathy Wadley granted Gibia bail on condition she did not stay in the home where the victim lives.
The man suffered a wound to his abdomen.
Gibia was taken into custody at the scene and charged with grievous bodily harm.
She will face Townsville Magistrates Court for a committal mention on August 18.
