Dion Lee scores bullseye with affordable designs at Target

Townsville Bulletin - - LIFESTYLE -

WOMEN used to need to scour eBay to find one of his frocks for less than $ 300 but from today they can buy a whole Dion Lee ensemble for that price.

Target Australia has partnered with the young designer to release his highly anticipated range.

With pieces starting at just $ 25, organisers are anticipating a mad rush as bargain fashionistas snap up the 36piece range.

In fact, they already have, with online shoppers getting first dibs on the highly desired collection which was made available on Target’s e- store at 8pm last night.

The last major designer collaboration for Target was the extensive Missoni fashion and homewares launch in October.

Local label Desert Designs also released a limited edition capsule collection last year, offering its signature abstract prints.

“My collection with Target combines style with function and reflects the wardrobe of the contemporary Australian woman at work or relaxing,” Lee said of the new range.

“Designing performance wear was a new experience, and I was inspired to create modern women’s active wear for everyday living.”

The sport luxe collection features everything from cocktail dresses and neoprene mules to active wear pieces such as running shorts, lightweight jackets and handbags.
