HAPPIER THAN PIG IN MUD
IT WAS clear as mud d thath youngsters enjoyed themselves at the 28th annual Mud Day in Detroit.
Workers spent a week creating a mud pit of 200 tonnes of soil and 75,700 litreslit of watert r for the event event, which is only open to children 12 and under.
A steady downpour made it one of the muddiest encounters yet and eager participants dived right in.
Six Six- year- old Emileigh Powers ( pictured) was crowned the 2015 Queen of Mud, having piled the most mud possible on herself.
“I have mud all over. It feels awesome!” she said.
