IN­TER­NA­TIONAL su­per­stars the Hill­top Hoods, Birds of Tokyo and The Liv­ing End will be rock­ing Reid Park this week­end at the Townsville 400.

V8 Su­per­cars event man­ager Rachel White said the event’s all- en­com­pass­ing en­ter­tain­ment pack­age con­tin­ued to de­liver the largest and most sig­nif­i­cant event in North Queens­land.

“We are de­lighted that the Rock and Race for­mat is back in Townsville with the best en­ter­tain­ment in the sev­enyear history of the event,” Ms White said.

The Hill­top Hoods, who have just reached dou­ble plat­inum sta­tus in Aus­tralia with their al­bum Walk­ing Un­der the Stars, will head­line the Fri­day night con­cert while Aria award win­ners The Liv­ing End will rock the precinct on Satur­day night.

Mo­tocross le­gends Show­time FMX re­turn to en­ter­tain the crowds and world- renowned stunt king Matt Min­gay will show­case his gi­ant 600 horse­power Hot Wheels Tro­phy Truck, en­ter­tain­ing race­go­ers with in­cred­i­ble 100m jumps and as­tound­ing stunts.

Off the track,track the fi­nal of the Miss V8 Su­per­cars com­pe­ti­tion is on tonight at the Mad Cow Tav­ern from 9pm, with all fi­nal­ists vy­ing for the chance to strut their stuff at the Townsville 400.
