INTERNATIONAL superstars the Hilltop Hoods, Birds of Tokyo and The Living End will be rocking Reid Park this weekend at the Townsville 400.
V8 Supercars event manager Rachel White said the event’s all- encompassing entertainment package continued to deliver the largest and most significant event in North Queensland.
“We are delighted that the Rock and Race format is back in Townsville with the best entertainment in the sevenyear history of the event,” Ms White said.
The Hilltop Hoods, who have just reached double platinum status in Australia with their album Walking Under the Stars, will headline the Friday night concert while Aria award winners The Living End will rock the precinct on Saturday night.
Motocross legends Showtime FMX return to entertain the crowds and world- renowned stunt king Matt Mingay will showcase his giant 600 horsepower Hot Wheels Trophy Truck, entertaining racegoers with incredible 100m jumps and astounding stunts.
Off the track,track the final of the Miss V8 Supercars competition is on tonight at the Mad Cow Tavern from 9pm, with all finalists vying for the chance to strut their stuff at the Townsville 400.
