MPs dive in quality stakes

Townsville Bulletin - - OPINION -

BETWEEN the two parties after the last election, a lot of worthy politicians were lost. The fight between Rudd and Gillard also lost a lot of qualified politicians.

We are now left with two debating teams, neither of whom give us much comfort.

However, out of the ashes, according to the news on June 29, emerge a group of new politicians – businessmen, unions, finance people and other strong groups who know their business, to take charge of running the country’s business affairs. They have started with climate change.

Keep your eyes and ears on this lot; they are the backbone and saviours of this country.

They are our musketeers, we must support them. KAY PRIEST, Railway Estate.
