FOR­MER US pres­i­dent Ge­orge H. W. Bush has been hos­pi­talised af­ter fall­ing at home and break­ing a bone in his neck. “His con­di­tion is sta­ble – he is fine – but he’ll be in a neck brace,” Bush spokesman Jim McGrath tweeted. McGrath said that Bush “fell at home in Maine to­day and broke a bone in his neck”. The 91- year- old for­mer pres­i­dent is be­ing treated at a hos­pi­tal in the nearby city of Port­land, CNN re­ported. “We are not ex­pect­ing a long stay,” McGrath told the chan­nel. The old­est of the four liv­ing for­mer US pres­i­dents, Bush, who uses a wheel­chair, has seemed frail in re­cent public ap­pear­ances.
