Cowgirl’s dream tilt
WOODSTOCK cowgirl Kelsey Lenton should benefit from some tough love as she lives out her dream at this weekend’s National Barrel Horse Association Youth World Championships.
Lenton, 13, is in Perry, Georgia, in the US, where she is the only North Queenslander in the Australian team.
She will be competing against 1000 other girls at the world event, and can take confidence out of her training at a summer camp at the famous Josey Ranch earlier this month.
The teen worked under Cowgirl Hall of Fame member Martha Josey and was forced to adapt to a new and difficult horse.
