Not guilty plea from Jennings
NSW State of Origin star Michael Jennings has pleaded not guilty to hindering police and offensive behaviour.
Jennings, who did not appear at Parramatta Local Court yesterday, was charged after allegedly approaching officers in an aggressive manner when they tried to speak to another man who was allegedly kicking a carpark boom gate. The charges stem from an incident in Sydney following the second State of Origin match.
The Roosters player entered the pleas through his lawyer Paul McGirr. Outside court, Mr McGirr said he was waiting to see the full brief of evidence.
