Gale puts power into acting push

Townsville Bulletin - - LIFESTYLE -

MEGAN Gale has signed with powerful American management group Silver Lining Management.

Gale, who is putting her name behind the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation’s # 10 hours campaign, said she was open to all sorts of acting roles in the future.

She won acclaim for her scene- stealing performance in Mad Max: Fury Road.

“For me it’s about the material and the character and who I’m working with,” she said.

“I would do TV, I would do independent film, local stuff or overseas projects.

“It’s all about finding something that resonates with me within the project.”

Gale said her family situation, now that one- year- old River is a little older, meant she was open to work more.

Gale said she felt honoured to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation’s new campaign, through her work with L’Oreal Paris. Every 10 hours a woman in Australia dies of ovarian cancer, hence the title of the campaign, # 10 hours.

Gale will officially launch her homewares range with Target this week.
