Hoffman expects cold shoulder

Townsville Bulletin - - SPORT -

JOSH Hoffman is bracing for elbows and niggles from his former Brisbane teammates as the Gold Coast fullback prepares to return to Suncorp Stadium for the first time since he left the Broncos. Hoffman ( right) will be a marked man when he returns to his former hunting ground on Friday night, with Brisbane almost certain to target their ex- fullback after he endured a rough night under the high ball in the Gold Coast’s loss to Newcastle. The 25- year- old can still remember the physical working over he copped when the Titans hosted Brisbane in Round 5. ” I was getting a few elbows from Corey ( Parker) and Macca ( Andrew McCullough) and Gillo ( Matt Gillett), and I’m looking forward to that on Friday night,” Hoffman said.
