Trump in poll boost

WHITE House hope­ful Don­ald Trump has jumped far into the lead in the poll over the 2016 Repub­li­can Party pres­i­den­tial nom­i­na­tion, de­spite his com­ments crit­i­cis­ing im­mi­grants and Viet­nam War hero John McCain. The ho­tel mag­nate was the favourite for 24 per cent of Repub­li­can and Repub­li­can- lean­ing in­de­pen­dent vot­ers, the high­est per­cent­age and widest lead so far in the cam­paign, ac­cord­ing to an ABC News-Washington Post poll. He led Scott Walker ( 13 per cent) and Jeb Bush ( 12).
