Bali flights stall again

Townsville Bulletin - - NEWS -

JETSTAR last night cancelled all flights in and out of Bali but is hopeful of resuming services soon. “As we’ve seen during the past three weeks, the movement of this ash cloud remains highly unpredictable,” a Jetstar spokesman said. Virgin Australia cancelled 10 of its flights in and out of Bali and announced it was delaying daytime flights from Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide to Denpasar today by at least an hour. Passengers have been advised to go to airports in line with the new times and await further advice. Volcanic ash cloud billowing out of Mt Raung hangs over Denpasar, creating unfavourable flying conditions. Eruptions have gone on for more than three weeks.
