Tragic end to fly­over

AN ALASKAN man fly­ing over his daugh­ter’s wed­ding re­cep­tion died when the plane crashed af­ter its land­ing gear hit trees, state po­lice said. Michael Zag­ula, 54, was alone in the Cessna 206G when it went down near the small town of Trap­per Creek on Sun­day at 7pm. Guests had taken photos, cut the cake and started to bar­be­cue when Mr Zag­ula de­cided to leave and do the fly­over. “Ev­ery­body wit­nessed this, which makes it 10 times harsher,” a friend said. Mr Zag­ula was a for­mer com­mer­cial pi­lot with years of ex­pe­ri­ence.
