Townsville Bulletin - - LIFESTYLE -

LATELY it has been far too common to spot a dog “leashless”. I believe this highly dangerous to the public and to the dogs themselves.

Leashes were made for a reason, and should be used whenever the canine is out of its home. A dog is an animal and has a mind of its own. As a result this means that they are never completely predictable.

Leads can price from only a couple of dollars, and if you are not able to purchase one, I believe you should NOT be a pet owner.

Children have been horribly attacked and therefore have feared dogs for the rest of their lives. This is not the dog that did the wrong thing but actually the irresponsible owners who did not secure their dogs correctly, or at all. Always remember…. DOGS BELONG ON LEASHES!
