MP billed for spill

AN ENVIRONMENTAL stunt by Liberal MP Andrew Laming has cost him $ 256. Mr Laming in March poured flammable and toxic bunker fuel from a passenger ship on his hands and furniture in Parliament House’s Federation Chamber during a speech on cruise ships. The Department of Parliamentary Services has confirmed it billed Mr Laming $ 256 for cleaning by a contractor, which he has paid.
