HEAD west this weekend for a wild adventure with the gang at Woodstock trail rides. Situated 40km away, there is accommodation available on Jones Rd so you can make a weekend out of it. Enjoy a 1 ½ - hour ride through rugged country for those who want to experience a taste of trail riding. Riders need to be over the age of seven and this ride is suitable for all fitness levels. gravity with the final race of the year for the Crank’D Cycles Gravity Enduro race 3 this Sunday, August 2. Race your mates down and then take your time going up; you don’t need to be a downhill demon to give this a crack. You will need an off- roadworthy bike; full- faced helmet and closed- in shoes. Gloves and protection ( elbow and knee pads) are optional. Nominations are online only and will be cut off tonight. No registrations on the day. Pick up your race plate at 6.30am and race start is at 7.30am. If you don’t ride don’t worry; come along and bring horns, whistles or drums to cheer the riders on. to North Shore pool ( Northern Beaches Leisure Centre on Erskine Place) this Sunday morning for the Free Radicals Tribe Triathlon Club’s free triathlon training for all. Kicking off at 6.15am, it’s great for the whole family to train together with children from six years upwards welcome. Sessions go for about 1 ½ hours. There will be qualified Triathlon Australia adult and children’s coaches to get you to your fitness goals. Cost is pool entry ( approximately $ 5).
